Comedian T-ROBE welcomed the world’s most talented pole performers to Pittsburgh’s Top Venue PITTSBURG, PA –June 18, 2018 – On Thursday, June 14th, 2018, Cheerleaders Gentlemen’s Club, voted best Gentlemen’s club in Pittsburg, and Metrospect Events, Pennsylvania’s premier event firm and creators of Hair O’ The Dog, presented the World’s Most Pulsating Pole Competition, The Platinum Pole Awards. This highly anticipated event was sponsored in part by Elite Alternative Medicine and was hosted by Pittsburg native, comedian and actor, Tony “T-ROBE” Roberson. Tony’s lively and hysterical stand-up act wowed the crowd and sent this spectacular event into overdrive.

TEN artistic pole performers from all over the globe battled it out for a chance to win the astonishing
$10,000 Winner Take All prize and the coveted title of Platinum Pole Awards-Steel City Champion
2018. Each contestant graced the stage and poles with impressive combinations of physical athleticism
and exquisite technique.

Platinum Pole extraordinaires memorized the standing room only crowd and
celeb judges with a display of creativity, elegance and showmanship. The competition was fierce and
included an array of talent including an MMA fighter, stay at home mother, pole studio owner, classically
trained dancer, a dirt bike rider, and aerialists.

The Pittsburg local and national star judges selected the winner and contestants were judged on agility, technicality, presentation, showmanship, originality of performance and costuming. After an awe-
inspiring performance the $10,000 prize was awarded to ANNA URBANKOVA, a native of Slovenia, who currently resides in Miami, Florida and trains with the acclaimed Milan Pole Dance Studio in Miami.

Anna’s performance was absolutely flawless and included an exhibition of fascinating pole tricks and sensational moves that were so gracefully executed.

Second place went to Amie, owner of Elite Pole & Fitness in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Amy’s performance was perfectly choreographed and combined sultry floorwork with passionate pole work

Third place was awarded to Luna, a Jeep aficionado from West Virginia. Luna’s performance was breathtaking and included a high-energy display of vertical artistry.

The Platinum Pole Awards judging panel was also quite impressive and included pole dance sensation,
Shar-Zayn, who is the reigning Platinum Pole Awards Champion Philadelphia 2017 and holds multiple
other titles including, Miss Pole Star 2018 and EDI East Newcomer of the Year.

The judging panel also included, choreographer, Kelsey Moschetti, Cavo & Cake’s, Leah Surmacz, former pole champions and studio owners/trainers, Emily Cipriano and Ebony Sesky, and other renowned pole fitness instructors and cirque performers.

The Platinum Pole Awards will host their Platinum Pole Awards Philly in November. The Winner Take
