Maxim Wien sits on Kärntner Straße, a few doors down from the State Opera. That puts it about as central as a Vienna venue can be — walkable from Stephansplatz, and a taxi drops you at the door.

The club describes itself as an all-in-one venue rather than a single-purpose strip club: a gentlemen’s club and bar at the front, with table dance, striptease and private rooms alongside. There is an in-house DJ and a champagne list. Couples are welcome, which is not the case everywhere in the city.
